GreKo

GreKo is a chess program (engine) supporting WinBoard and UCI chess protocols.
You can play or analyze chess games with GreKo either in console mode, or attach it to any modern chess GUI, like Arena, WinBoard, ChessBase, SCID, Kvetka, etc.

This version comes with tiny opening book (< 500 positions). You can download main opening book separately. It is the same as in GreKo 6.25.

KAISSA

This is PC port of famous "Kaissa" chess program. It was rewritten in 1992 in Turbo C from mainframe version, but the core algorithm is from original "Kiassa" of 70s. The source code is published with kind permission given by its authors - M.Donskoy, A.Arlazarov, A.Uskov and A.Bitman.

ITEF chess program

This is hand-written autocode of ITEF chess program, Kaissa's grandmother. It was run on M-20 machine, Soviet vacuum-tube computer.
